Construction of new Portuguese home has officially started!
Miniclip, a world leader of market-defining mobile titles, announced today that it has laid ground work for its new multinational office space at Taguspark in Porto Salvo, Portugal. The new building will be completely personalized to fit seamlessly into the Miniclip family, offering a sense of openness and light, creating the illusion of hovering in the air (see artists impressions).
Miniclip will keep its London headquarters and Italian offices. The investment in the Portuguese is important for the development of titles such as 8 Ball Pool, Agar.io, Soccer Stars and Carrom Pool. The new office is designed to accommodate the studio’s ongoing growth and will be fully personalised to fit seamlessly into the Miniclip family.
Jurgen Post, CEO of Miniclip, commented, “This year Miniclip celebrated 10 years in Lisbon. The team of 277 people, who are responsible for fantastic titles such as 8 Ball Pool, Agar.io, Soccer Stars, Carrom Pool and our most recent hit Mini Football are looking forward to moving into the new, purpose-built office which we know will enable us to bring even more quality games to the world”.
The new Miniclip building, whose works are already underway, has a floor area of four thousand square meters and a capacity for 350 people. The new offices sit in the science and technology park located in Oeiras.
